Meet Rebecca
Rebecca Minor, MSW, LICSW (she/her) is a neuroqueer femme, clinician, consultant, and educator working at the intersection of parenting, gender, and sexuality. As a Gender Specialist, Rebecca partners with trans and gender-expansive youth through their journey of becoming and is a guide to their parents in affirming it. Her professional journey into gender and sexuality began in 2007 and has since spanned from studying psychology and queer theory, working at esteemed institutions like McLean Hospital and as a research fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, to acquiring a Masters Degree in Social Work at Boston University’s School of Social Work (BUSSW) as an Urban Practice Scholar.
In addition to her graduate degree, Rebecca's rich tapestry of expertise includes a certificate in the Treatment of Trauma and Dissociation, postgraduate training in several therapeutic modalities, and a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, attesting to her holistic approach to healing.

Rebecca is part-time faculty at BUSSW and infuses her work with a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and resilience-oriented perspective. Beyond her clinical role, Rebecca has been instrumental in enhancing cultural humility and competency in organizations, schools, and businesses over the past decade. With her clinical practice founded in 2018, she offers a range of specialized services, from individual therapy to parent/caregiver coaching and group therapy. Resolute in her advocacy, Rebecca navigates her work with profound humility and recognition of her privilege, aiming to shoulder some of the emotional labor of her gender-expansive clients and foster an environment that encourages authenticity, self-compassion, and resilience.
