Kristina Pinto, EdD
Educational Background and Training:
Dr. Pinto's academic journey began at Harvard University, where she earned her doctorate in Human Development and Psychology. She further specialized in Clinical Neuropsychology at Suffolk University. Her training included a focus on clinical assessment and intervention, working with adolescents and adults at several esteemed institutions such as Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital, VA hospitals, the University of Connecticut Health Center, Mass Mental Health Center, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Inclusive and Hollistic Neuropsychology:
Dr. Pinto is particularly passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ youth, especially those exploring or affirming their identities. She is adept in addressing the unique cognitive and psychiatric challenges faced by nonbinary and transgender individuals. Her work is underpinned by a deep understanding of the complexities of intersectional identities.
As a certified yoga teacher (RYT-200), Dr. Pinto integrates mind-body health practices into her work. She has extensively written and presented on topics related to gender, culture, and the intersection of mental and physical well-being, emphasizing holistic approaches to health.
Clinical Neuropsychological Evaluations: Dr. Pinto conducts comprehensive, patient-centered neuropsychological evaluations for individuals 12 years and older. Her evaluations are tailored to address conditions like ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, and various neurological disorders, ensuring a thorough understanding and supportive care for her patients. Through her diverse expertise and empathetic approach, Dr. Pinto offers a unique and supportive therapeutic environment for her clients. Evaluations are conducted either virtually or in person in Acton or Westborough, MA.
